Description: The Museum of the Stars is located in Bickley, WA. It is part of the major redevelopment of the existing Perth Observatory Campus, and it will be the core for educational activities at the site. The museum will incorporate the history of astronomy in WA with a focus on both pre-colonial and post-colonial history. The museum will display a repository of the physical artefacts of astronomy in WA, including astronomical machines, telescopes, photographic glass plates, documents, and books. The museum building was inspired by the constant dynamics of the space objects. The museum display will be organised on a series of ramps and will encourage constant movement throughout the building.
